Understanding Core Values and Leadership

In this Rafting with Kailee interview I stopped by my favorite shoe company La Sportiva, in Boulder, Colorado to meet up with Lydia Sturgis to discuss her journey in the outdoors. Lydia has been in the outdoors from an early age and I wanted to learn more about the lessons she drew from being a young woman in the outdoors and how she found her voice. Some of the fantastic ideas Lydia had to offer were:

• Be comfortable with no and failure

• Understand your core values and how those add to your team

• Find the joy in making mistakes

• Understanding timidness

• Have fun
