Soul Rafter - Tullulah River
Running a Huge Slide
The Tallulah River contains some of the best whitewater in the Southeast, but requires a steep, strenuous hike in, a 2 mile flatwater paddle out, is only 1 mile of whitewater and only has water a few time a year. If all that doesn't make you want to raft it, the Tallulah also contains a ~65 foot long slide with a huge THING in the middle of it. Haunting my dreams, I just had to run the Tallulah and Oceana while I was at it.
This is the seventeenth episode of Soul Rafter's 18 rivers in 2018 series where Rafting Magazine Ambassador Nick Prete attempts to paddle 18 new rivers in 2018.
